Labert1981, the fourth picture of the second post. Hmm can work on the composition. maybe its just me, dont really like the sun at that position.

Normally for Silhouette shot, prefer to line the sun behind the subject, blocking the direct light of it.

Yup i also feel the same way, went there 3 times liao.

Actually the photos not really true HDRs, the sun was very bright and glaring that day and I had to use grad NDs/full NDs to get some exposures and blend them. Abit hard to get properly exposed light and dark areas without clipping with the sun like dat.

Ooh ok I'll take note of it. Thanks for the link and comment. Will learn and improve! For me I wasn't thinking of taking silhouette at that time as I didn't like taking photos of this type. Moi afraid of the dark

So I was concentrating on the sun instead and was metering the sun and foreground, lock the exposure and recompose the shot, that's why the foreground is lighted.
