The zoom out one I read b4 somewhere that u have to time the zoom out according to the focal length u last zoomed into and the exposure time. Is more practical for longer shutter speeds so have to use high aperture values. Like if shutter speed is 10s, den a 3s interval of zooming out something like dat, trial & error. Den maybe a parfocus lens is more suitable also. Not very sure so I can be wrong

The star effects I think have to use high aperture values like f16 onwards. More aperture blades in the lens will give better star burst effects also I think.
