Random power offs (New Rig)

Hi

Just got a new rig everything seems to be working fine, installed all the drivers and what not, but I get the occasional random power off, it just turns off, no shut down screen, then when it reboots it goes to recovery.

Any advice?

For a whole week after assembly it was fine. Now as I just went to check this thread it happened again... And this time at the recovery screen my keyboard & mouse did not turn on even though they are plugged in.

Not too sure how the program works but after installing and running it I do not see any errors on the program screen.

TS, power off your rig and do the following:
1. unplug the 24-pin/8-pin power connectors and then plug again securely
2. check if your cpu/hsf mount securely
3. check if your gpu mount securely and power connector plug in

hey i got a similar problem last week after i cleaned the interior of my computer. somehow now i bought new ram and installed its ok already.

maybe is ram issue
