I would say it depends on vocation. For infantry should be combat shoot as a section.

How does the combat shoot at mmrc work? Is it difficult to shoot?

Range at MMRC is so much easier to shoot as compare to outdoor range, especially for night range.

Furthermore unlike outdoor range, you need not become assistant for the detail before you. MMRC will station their own personnel to assist every shooter.

Uncle's 7th ICT also ATEC 2 and went straight to range after the ATEC 2 evaluation. That time our range was the combat shoot format. Meaning when the moving target is up, you have to shoot your target correctly. And also had to wait till sky turned dark then commenced night fire.

We went to Pasir Laba range that year I think around 2013. Very fun if you asked me cos after after getting marksmen still got incentive of $200 to take back besides make up pay.

because one battalion so many people, gotta stagger.

A,B,C coy go shoot first, followed by HQ

depends on battalion isn't it?

at least we all not the conventional range.
MMRC, shoot day and night in just 30 mins!
but have to do combat reload, no more announcment to load magazine anymore

Day and night shoot? I’m afraid it will end quite late. Your unit can only book out after all arms are cleaned, returned, inspected, and cleared by the DO (duty officer).

Some units try to reduce the time needed to clean by pre-assigning a batch of rifles to be used for actual live firing in the range.
