I remained pte rank for a long time cuz i can't pass my ippt.

if i manage to pass ippt , will it be

pte->cpl(4mths)->3sg

or

pte -> 3sg

If u are in a active unit, your promotion depends on your CO.

most likely to be supply supervisor or transport supervisor vocation.

Can be local 3SG rank; i.e. did not go SISPEC but got 3SG rank. Essentially only recognised as spec in your unit but not by army; i.e. no rank pay.

Local means nothing other than rank at the place change

combat spec vocation? so by estab it is a 3sg, usually once you finish your course, you will be a CPL. as for the 3sg rank, depends, some unit want you to pass ippt if you are combat fit or at least serve your cpl rank for some time(how long I have no idea) or both.

whether you get your 3sg pay or not I am not sure

If you got any medical problem, exploit and down PES to min C9L9. Shld be able to exempt from IPPT and let your S1 branch know then can up rank bah.

Local 3SG means MINDEF doesn't know abt it. If they dun know, how would u get ur 3SG pay?

You needs to hold a 3SG appointment which is recommended by your CO to have a local 3SG promotion.

In this case, MINDEF will know you are getting Local 3SG promotion if you are getting it by the right way.

However you will never get your 3SG pay because 3SG is not your actual rank when you are just a local 3SG.

What to get 3SG pay, ask your CO to promote you because he have the power to do so.

Local 3SG means MINDEF doesn't know abt it. If they dun know, how would u get ur 3SG pay?
