[Rant]SAF Timing very solid

Last time after ORD got posted to mindef reserve/medically inactive unit. 6-7 years riao nothing then suddenly last month send me letter say posted to HQ RSN(I was from the navy btw)..

I tot nvm lorx, got unit niax..

Today send me notification say got briefing workshop for 3rd-4th mar 2014..Best part is i already book flight tickets for Taiwan from 27th Feb - 5th Mar 2014..Tickets already booked back in May..

Cannot defer thru ns.sg, called them up..They ask me to send email for deferment with supporting documents..

They sure know how to choose dates..

report in no.3 with head dress (beret) right? what if my no.3 is the old one, how? and... I don't know where my no.3 shoe is already... think is gg.com. need to ownself go buy from emart?

Yup..

I everything also dont have riao..After so many years, white no.3 also become yellow already..Same goes for the shoes..Confirm is goner..

If need be, i go emart rebuy all the stuff..But already send in deferment email..

Lady from pers hub called..Ask if i can make it for another briefing on the 6th Mar, told her very siong cos i touchdown SG early morning of 6th Mar..So they would put me into another briefing..

btw maumu, the briefing is for 1st time call up one..They will brief on the policy and blah blah blah..

thanks I also called up to ask them details about this and apparently they broadcast the wrong attire - can wear civilian for the two days.

and like what u said it's more on briefing about policies and stuff... -.-

So is can wear civilian?? My fren say can get the pers hub to settle for you on the uniform and stuff also..They will deduct certain amt from emart credit...

yah according to the lady who called me back:
- no need stay in
- broadcast wrong attire, should be civilian (but she emphasized "proper attire" meaning "no slippers" that kind)

however, i hope they send another broadcast to reflect the correct attire or else i am still sticking to what's written on black and white just in case...

Sounds okay...They say they will try to arrange another date for me..

Tot about it abit..I dont think after that they might call us back for ICT just to sit inside the office..
