If very serious rashes gotta use steroid creams like fucicort..
but use sparingly and after consultation with PD.

with smitty should not have rashes. Try to keep clean. After milk use clean damp cloth to wipe. They tends to have a lot of saliva, always use clean cloth.

i think its becos of the rash thats why keep rubbing and not the other way around.

if after keeping clean cannot resolve go see PD for cream.

Rashes

Hi,

My Kid has the same problem at the age and i have thought would be the scratches which i have tried product like "ScratchMeNot" as mitten usually will be taken out by the kid.

But to him, its only solve issue on the surface which later i realized its allergy to food.

Can consider to bring him see doctor for allergy test, hope it help

At 3 month old, if still drinking full breast milk, allergic reaction pretty low. If the child on formula, then its possible to be allergic reaction.

Do moisturize with like cetaphil or QV cream, I realised that keeping daughter's skin moisturised, her rashes and redness reduced..

Don't use steroids unless it super super super bad. Not good for the baby's skin.

Yup.. Mine was super bad at that time. u see also sure scared.. put steroids on for 3 days and it cleared up... thereafter gotta keep moisturising..
i use california baby calendula.. read some ppl recommend breast milk.. i dun recommend that.. feels it worsens the condition.

Think best is see dermatologist if really bad. My daughter went to see polyclinic and got diagnosed with fungal infection cos the rash was all over the body. Didn't get better. Went to see a specialist (dermatologist) and got diagnosed with eczema. Gave steroid cream and was better after a few days.
