This glitch was highlighted a couple of weeks ago - you can see it on youtube.

BTW, the Pi 2 that I got from Element 14 earlier is made in China; this later one from RS is made in UK.

I have been trying to use a bluetooth keyboard (from Challenger) on the Pi 2 but without success. It works OK on my ChromeBox but does not work on my two units of Pi 2. Anyone here has succeeded in using a bluetooth keyboard?

Having used the Pi 2 with KODI installed for a month now, my opinion is that is much more stable than any of the Android boxes that I have owned - even those that cost 4x more. It is a small humble looking box with cables attached to it but it works wonders with KODI.

Yes, I have used KODI to play my old movies in rmvb format.

can kodi running on pi2 play 1080p rmvb file smoothly without dropping frame? please help to test. kodi has a diagnostic page on screen during play. Press "o" on the keyboard will bring up the page.

Hmm.... I don't have any rmvb in 1080p. If you send me a link of a sample file, I can run a test for you.

Thanks for the link; I don't read Chinese but managed to download the 120MB MIB3 trailer after 4 attempts.

I transferrred the 1080p rmvb file to my NAS and then ran it on the Pi 2. It ran OK without any problems.

Out of curiosity, I also ran it on my PC, KODI Windows, ChromeBox OpenElec KODI, and also on the Android Tronsmart Draco. They all ran OK.

The Pi 2 draws quite a bit of current when in use, so, it is important to have a good 2A power supply. Would make sense to order the Raspberry power supply as well.

what are the figures shown on the diagnostic page? e.g frame rate, no of drop frames, no of skip frames.

Raspberry Pi Kickstarter for Beginners

I read with interest this thread and I am glad that there is so much interest in the Raspberry Pi. If you have no time to learn about the Raspberry Pi by yourself and would like a classroom training and hands-on course to learn more about Raspberry Pi. Kindly sign up for this course. You can register at wangsols.dyndns.org or PM me.

You will be able to find the details of the course and I would be happy to accommodate your request by replacing some of the content if needed e.g. setting up Openelec if that is a topic of interest.

I really hope to see you all soon. The course is scheduled for 30 May 2015, please sign up fast for discounted course fees.
