Thanks I finally read through this whole thread. One problem I see is that the SD card seems to get corrupted quite easily.
How often does it happen for everyone and is it avoidable/reduced with good practice or brand? If corrupted can the the SD card be reused as I don't want to buy a new SD card everytime it gets corrupted!
Corruption is not always, but sometimes it happens.
I'd get 2 SD cards to swap, higher speed ones are better, like class 10. If one corrupts, just format and reload the OS.
I run OSMC now with Kodi, and turbo-charged (overclocked) it.
I'm still amazed at this little Pi2.
It streams video smoothly.
Comparing to another android box I have, which claims HEVC, etc, etc. It can't stream 1080p smoothly compared to Pi2.
Now, wishing there is a Pi3.
