razer store now has a promo - free Hammerhead V2 plus the standard FL studio suite.

Ends on 7th Aug but I was wondering would COMEX be worth the wait to get this or it won't have much difference?

bought my 4k 512gb from gameproshop at funan even before the official launch... manage to dig a free razer hoodie and steelseries gaming mouse from them... sold the hoodie on carousell for $60... mouse for $40... i actually bought at a premium price of $2499 previously during preorder at march it show, last week razer contacted me and say they have drop the official price to $2399 and gave me $200 razer store credit... guess i will keep the store credit for razer core then...

lets just say i got a $300 "rebate"... lol!

You bought from gamepro but razer able to track you down via warranty registration and know about your buying price? Wow...razer very good company,earned my respect!

Same thinking. Nt sure to wait for COMEX or just hoot. Shipping of this unit is from overseas or through local distributor? Saw that they have a next day shipping option.

There's a new version with new CPU and ram upgrade. CPU is change from I7 6500u to I7 7500U and 8GB as standard to 16GB as standard.

Thats feels nice. Just nt sure when will this will be available in Singapore. Luckily i didn't pull the trigger yet.

very gian to ditch my desktop and get the stealth along with a core

but I'm not very confident that it can last me 3-4 years of intensive usage without giving me any problems

Same here. But will not be ditching desktop on my end. But heard that even with the core, it may no satisfy those CPU intensive games. Am nt sure about that but might get the core when it's in sg and hook it up to my tv in the living room. While my desktop will remain in my room.

The "lifespan" is really quite unknown yet unlike the macbooks which is super lasting.

Main problem now is when are they releasing the new stealth in sg. LOL. And experienced buying directly from razerstore in US? Any feedback?

I'm still on 1080p gaming so not much of an issue for me

kinda sad to see that we don't get region exclusive stuff despite tan min liang being Singaporean

you will probably need a freight forwarder if you want to get it from the US, the pin plug may not be compatible also, but don't quote me on that

Oh ya, the power plug. thnx for pointing out. so after buying form usa i still need buy another adapter from razer Singapore. dont feel quite worth it to buy from US. Still need to pay for GST.

True, it's really sad to not enjoy any exclusive stuffs. Not even a flagship store setup here.
