Now with more annoying rubberized coating. RIP. My set is still usable, Blue LED. Rubber coating removed. Used for almost 5 years before i decided to retire it while it is still usable to preserve in my museum.

Avoid keyboard/mouses with rubber coating, soon or later become sticky and need IPA to remove.

It is double the price of the original. Don't know if it is as durable though. Still have my plasma edition serving as my mobile mouse.

Is it rubber coated or is it the matte plastic being used in the newer mice?

i think you guys got it wrong. I don't believe Razer is taking a step back and re-introducing the rubber coating that everyone detests. the HWZ article only mentioned rubber padded sides.

Don't like diamondback design
e side grip v weird and too slim for large hand user

If e design is good, they shld alrdy carry on its legacy like deathadder liao.

Live by this mantra. There's always something better than a Razer product that's also cheaper.

Razer should be quite durable although they are expensive. My diamondback more than 10 years, copperhead and krait close to 10 years and Lachesis around 8 years all working perfectly. Only the rubber coatings gone. Lol.

Wish they would have the same transparent casing as the plasma though... Brings back memories from 2005 haha
