Razer DB - problem

Hi all,

pretty new to this forum, have got some questions.

I`m using Diamond Back Plasma blue Limited edition.

when i bought the mouse, had some scratches on it.

was reading the problems faced by some here and which i face also. my mouse will suddenly go dead with all the lights down . have got to plug out, and plug in again . very frustrating. how do i update the firmware as stated earlier? do i re-install my mouse?

any help greatly appreciated.

Use only 1 USB port for your mouse, and update the latest drivers will do.

Have been using only 1 usb port for my mouse. And drivers are also the latest.

it`s not something i face everyday, but sometimes can get frustrating.

Does your mobo come with an extra USB header? if so just plug it into there... for me I had to isolate the port (every header is split into two ports) then the problem will be minimised

Nope my motherboard comes only with 2 standard usb ports and 2 extra "slow Usb" ports.

btw, i don`t see much advertistment on razor`s website and others about the pro solutions (white in colour) . Is it the same as DB? confusing. initially wanted to get that version but didn`t see much advertistment that`s y decided to stick with DB instead. still confused now though.

i just bought a diamondback plasma blue.. but i try to update the drivers from the CD or WEB. it just cant do that.. read up some threads in the past but mine is a special problem.. hmmm..

once i double click the setup.exe. it'll says 'preparing to setup' den when the cursor bar ends, everything disappear, cant run.. hmm.

Looking for proclick with free propad at reasonable price. so deniszz any idea where got offer now? 59 or 69.. heheh

Fall in love with razer the moment i used it. Been called a hacker in cs due to the HS most of the time. Good response (drag and shoot) and precision! Thumbs up!

Another pt to add on. This is my 2nd DB, 1st RIP this yr march after almost a yr in service and i went ban leong to have it service. To my surprise, they give me one brand new one. ( BTW, tot razer only 1 yr warranty? how come stated 2?)

TecDrome is a good place to visit. the owner is very honest with his biz. Bought my razer from him. Initially, i thought of getting a new but old version mouse MX518 (heard that this mouse is a killer too). Then i related my incident of my DB to him. He ask me don't buy a new mouse, give me ban leong's warranty card and ask me go service my mouse instead. But it's the receipt tat ban leong wanted to see. haha.. warranty card is for the addy only.

Anyway, hope that if there's any Razer promotions or package offer pls do post it here, would like to get most of the accessories as it's really cool! Aiming for proclick with FREE propad, armadilo (spelling?) , mat cover. Thumbs up for razer.

Thanks for your support, you can get $69 Proclick with free Propad at Inforcom in Funan. As for the warranty Razer has increased from 1 to 2 years WEF from this May.
