Hi fellows. I purchased a DiamondBack 3G not so long ago (2 months back?) & till today the centre scroll wheel is still very hard to press (down). Is this normal?

Guys need help and advise.

I just recently treat myself to Lycosa Mirror Special edition keyboard and copperback special edition mouse.

Sorry if i spell anything wrongly or name the model wrongly. (me noob).

Anyways, i was advise by few people NOT to install the driver CD which comes with both the mouse and the keyboard. (which i did not install)

But in WINDOWS UPDATE under the Hardwarde optional, windows also do have their OWN driver updates for my razer mouse and keyboard.

I was also advise NOt to install those from windows too.

Iam much of a gamer my self. Running Xp pro for now.

Question:

1. Why is it not advisable to install the drivers that comes in the CD with the mouse and keyboard?
2. Why is it not advisable to install the drivers that is in windows update too?

Thanks for reading and replying.

Cheers!@:s12:

Nothing wrong to install the drivers, in fact you are able to customized keys and buttons using the drivers and software. If not you are just using a normal keyboard + mouse.

Denniszz thanks for reading and replying.

Which drivers you talking about?

The one that is in the CD that comes with the keyboard and mouse or the drivers that windows update hast its website?

So many pepople did prewarn me about the drivers and software thats in the CD that comes with the keyboard and mouse and advise NOT to install as there are some issuse with it and its not stable.

If i were to install the drivers/programmes from the given CD, can i uninstall it 100% successfully in future without any residue still left in my com?

Anyone has tried this before?.....

Denniszz the stuff i got is from BL too.

Cheers!:s12:
