Just a quick check, you have plugged in all the connectors, haven't you? I believe there's a separate connector for headphones and mic, apart from the 2 USB connectors.

the connectors for the mic n headfone aren't separate.they're bundled together with the ports. just connect them to the appropriate jacks and they should work

Don't like Razer mice. Nice when new, but after awhile the rubber coating kind of melts(Singapore too hot? :s13:) and it gets really sticky and disgusting to use.

wet the tissue and then use a bit of force to rub it off.

My opinion: from a more expensive material to a less expensive material = downgrade. My previous exactMat comes with a wrist rest too.

Anyway, how to clean/sanitize the wrist rest after prolonged usage huh?

still no tips from bl ? the old version of exactmat

If these connectors aren't separate, I don't know what is.

@alextheong, have you connected all of them to the appropriate ports/jacks?

Anyone has any feedback on the blackwidow ultimate? I'm keen on a mechanical keyboard and heard abit of negative stuff like stuck keys for this keyboard. Just wanted to hear your feedback :)

been using one for like 4 months now. superb i would say. mayb its my 1st mech kb.

i would love to try out the brown switches..but its a gift from my wife so..lol..

if u are getting a mech kb, no harm go look at others like Filco, Ducky etc.

but if u like backlights, then BWU it is :)

agree with maneater.
if u dont need the backlight and programmable macro functs etc etc, u could always try other brands...
for the stuck keys, u could just remove the affected key and sand down the affected switch a bit.....
so far so good on mine, been using it for about a mnth...
The blue switches provide just the right type of feedback...
Black keys are too stiff for me...

this is wht i mean by not separate.....they're all connected at some point to the main bundle of wires tht come frm ur keyboard

I get what you mean, I think since we're both trying to help @alextheong, as long as he understands, it's good enough.

@alextheong, I think it's highly unlikely you could lose the connectors, they're bundled together.

My spacebar came off, but I fixed it. Works ok now. No complaints about it, but not gonna rave about it either. And yes, having used a mechanical keyboard, you wouldn't wanna switch back to a normal keyboard.

Agreed. I like my blue switches too, though I haven't tried the others yet.

Anyways, have only tried the black, not shiok for me....my friend has a unicomp keyboard tht uses the buckling spring mechanism....quite stiff i feel....
Heard a few problems with the BWU tho.mainly it's just keys getting stuck...
