But they will extend your modem warranty.
will replace if spoil.
How much they offer you?
Do ask for rebate and 15Mbps package.
Do keep us update, able to recontract soon.

the person only tell me about thr 10 Mbps offer. I ask got modem or not she say dont have. Say the person will call me 1-3 days later to get me to agree on verbally to recontract ( dunno what's the diff why need another person to do it ) . so 10 Mbps one really no modem ?

Even have the modem cmi lah. I got my aztech, the wireless cmi. Always drop signal. Then I switch to linksys router to connect to the aztech and disable the wireless in the aztech, now wireless so stable.

re-contract price of 15Mbps Home BroadBand $38.95

i still havent re-contract*

thanks everyone, basically, i called Singtel regarding my recontract
I did what some of you suggested..and saved $10x24mths of money.

What i hv gotten out of it was -

15mbps for 28.90 , 24 months contract
no free modem but they said if my modem is spoilt they will replace a new one for me. (i wonder how true)
no more $10 dollars rebate off phone line as well.

Last 2 nights, Snbb fail. Ping 1500+ms, dl 0.36 UL 0.02 to LA, even after reboot.
If really go on like that really regret recontracting 10Mbps

from 24mths phone waiver, to 12months, then zero waiver..like not much of a deal anymore.

think Singtel no longer interested in ADSL segment...no longer providing competitive prices

also, M1 offering 100mbps internet, with free VOIP line and mobile broadband...at $45.

just called
got offered the SGD 23+ for 10mbps for 12 months. No phone rebate. phone bill is around 27+ for 3 months. so works out to be 32.16

between M1 100mbps @ 39 with free phone line (anyone verify if there's free phone line), one time installation of SGD 58. i think i want to try M1

got to buy new router, USB receiver for wifi, else pull a super long cable to the room.

what do you guys think?

For those connections lagging, check whether your modem LEDs(Boadband & Services) got turn OFF by itself and after a while turn ON again.
I had this problem, the technician came , changed modem but 2nd day problem repeated again.
This time I check the wall telephone socket, I found the contacts in very bad condition.
I changed this socket , after 1week everything seem ok..
Hope my experience helps...

cheers
