Singapore:
By rite comfort taxi should be able to fit in 2x 28"
If u are taking prius, then might not be able to ...
if is toyota wish, should be able to ...

Bangkok:
Some taxi in bangkok boot can only put in one large luggage.
if u only have two or three pax, perhaps u wont have any issues ...

Suvarnabhumi Airport taxi queue, you can choose the queue for bigger taxis, those MPV kind. Normal taxis not possible.

Thanks bro, will take note of the normal taxi size.
This trip happens to be my first time landing and depart from DMK.

Taxi will be easier than compared to train to Pratunam area, unlike train from Suvarnabhumi airport right?

You will still need to take a taxi to get to the MRT from Don Muang airport. The SRT train from Don Muang station is out of the question.

You have kid and 2 big luggage, staying in pratunam not near BTS, so take taxi, it's your best option.
Bkk taxi got LPG tank in the boot so cannot put 2 28" luggage, can place 1 luggage on the seat.

Hhmm...I have no problem fitting 2 x 28" luggage in the boot of a Toyota altis, which the typical taxi model in bangkok. Of course, If the taxi already has some stuff in the boot, then may be a challenge.

Confirm cannot take in normal taxi ...
In Bangkok,
you might want to book your own driver ...
Tripadvisor have few drivers that charges 700b (toll inclusive) toyota innova
If you take bigger taxi at airport (toyota innova), depsite by meter, it might be above 700b. so far few friends have taken, not sure why even by meter, take to silom area is 750+ already ...

In Singapore
Maybe comfort taxi can take in, not prius or smaller taxi ...

If u intend to book a bigger car or taxi, grab might not be worth
the price shown is a big range, for example 500+ to 800+
excluding toll, and booking fees ...

would advise you to book your own driver ...
alternatively, some hotel might be able to get the big taxi for u , usually is 700 to 800b one way to airport, toll charges in ...

Agree, confirm cannot take in normal taxi. The LPG already take up a lot of the space. Toyota innova taxi also cannot, max is 1 28" 1 24".

In Singapore, without the LPG, sure can.

Alternatively, if you wish to have a bigger space, can consider booking a van, should be about 1000b one way ...

or you can split into two normal taxi ...
normally is about 400+ one way if u are going to pratunam area ...
Toyota innova is about 700b (if you book your own driver)

SG I will grab a family car to airport, need to check the car model...
DMK I assume no issue getting a big cab at taxi stand to pratunam right?
Hotel to DMK most probably I get hotel to arrange..

Btw DMK to pratunam and pratunam to DMK normally takes how long included normal traffic jam.

Thanks for all the replies.
I'm back from BKK, weather was extreme good on last Friday & Sat. Cloudy and no rain :)

When I reached DMK, was assigned a normal taxi and had to squeezed at the back as front seat taken up by luggage.
The taxi offered us fixed rate instead of meter....450 Baht include Toll..

Hotel to DMK, I booked a 6 seater Taxi thru Grab 2 hours in advance.
Only realized it had already been cancelled until I checked again 30 mins before my schedule time.

Chua tio and luckily able to book and got another 6 seater within 10mins.

Reached DMK and while queing, Scoot timing changed and delayed for 2 hrs.....

scoot again... I really think there is something very very wrong with them.. they can do marketing very well and poke fun of other companies' mistakes with a lot of wit.

but their flight are always delayed.. those that frequently appear in the news are those really long and serious ones.. but on top of that there are so many other delays that are not reported.. my friend who recently took scoot also experienced last minute reschedule AND delays of at anything between 3-6 hours.. i personally have not flew with them but I guess I may never choose to do so.
