Re Printer Cartridge

Hi everyone, Can anyone find a way to overcome HP printer's program which stop s you from using a refilled print cartridge? Because of the refilled cartridge I put in the printer, my whole computer was severely hampered until it slowed down to a crawl. Opening a new website took ages to open and it looks like some virus got into my system. I was about to send in for service until I tried putting a standby genuine cartridge in, because I urgently need to do some printing. And voila.... the computer came back to life with transmissions coming in less than a second. So I am sure some of the experts here have experienced this situation before. Anyone found a way to go about this? HP cartridges is damm expensive. Tku

Just in case people think I used fake cartridge, which I did not. I used a genuine cartridge but bought those ink bottles from Sim Lim Square and do the refill myself. It serves me well for about 5 refills and only on this 6th refill that the issue started. I could have blunder because I just did an upgrade of my printer through the HP site and that probably killed me because I think this latest upgrade, they put a program to prevent people from refilling their cartridge by causing the issues in my PC. Hope people who have other ideas about my cartridge will not use 3rd party cartridge as an explanation. The second I put a new genuine HP cartridge in, my pc instantly spring back to life. Just like in the news, Apple put a program on their mobile phone making sure the battery started dying after 1 year out and the battery will then quick discharge very quickly forcing the user to buy new batteries. Apple admitted this publicly recently.

So everyone please learn the lesson here. If your old equipment is working satisfactory, just let it be. Don't go and do an upgrade on it. It could end up like my situation here.

That's why they sell you cheap hardware (Printers) but hit you very hard with the software like ink cartridges. Ridiculous prices. I think the cost per cartridge for them due to massive orders, probably cost less than a dollar each. HP cheapest at least above $30 each to $50+. That's why their yearly profit is in the billions.
