Read data from a m.2 pci-e nvm-e SSD

hi all,

i have a m.2 ssd using PCI Express 3.0 x4 (NVMe) interface that I plugged it out from a spoilt surface pro 4.

is there any place that provide service to test the ssd is in working condition and copy all data out?

You can buy an adapter box from Worldwide Computer at 6th floor facing lifts, SLS.

hi, is the adapter box connecting the card to usb?

USB connection type depend on your requirement. Adapter can be sata only, pci e only or support both. Check before buying.

If you can't find an USB adapter, only option is to connect motherboard having M.2 NVMe slot to read back the data.

for usb currently only m2 sata available, would like to know options for nvme as well.
