Realistically, how do you think the election will turn out?
I think:
- WP will win their previously held wards gao gao, seeing the ground sentiment. The fact PAP send sacrificial lambs there says a lot.
- WP will gain East Coast easily.
- SDP has a moderate to high chance of winning Bukit Timah. I think the most excitement in election will come from here, whether the phoenix will rise and conquer, or if PAP cannot hold on there. I think the crux is not whether ppl dislike Vivi, but whether they willing to give CSJ a chance or not. I think around 60% chance ba.
- Vote percentage for oppo will drop or stay the same. I think it will be around 35-40%. Before you bash, let me sexplain. You get WP, and CSJ (SDP) who suffer for YEARS, and are still suffering, just to get a foot in. They work hard, and are seen as viable candidates. However, you get these other stupid parties like NSP, Sing-First, DPP, PPP, kenneth (RP) and all that lusting after 15k salary without any effort or doing much, other than quarreling with WP over 3-way fights. I think these new parties are super turn-off for most Singaporeans. I recently talk to my friend from tampinies, he didn't tell me who he voting for, but he say he sian 1/2 that SDP and WP not contesting his area. I think most singaporeans feel the same way.
