really need help on win 7

my windows explorer gone bad some how.
when i try to open any folder
the error always pops up " windows explorer has stop working"
my internet explorer has the same problem " internet explorer has stop working"

how to fix the problem without formatting my com or system restore. the system will not work as it happen over a month now.

please please help.
