This phone so much potential but

The gr collaboration is simply a additional mode inside camera that apply filters.
If they had incorporate it deeper into all 3 lens it would have been better.

Another disappointing wide angle.
Main lens 1/1.5, sensor 1/1.5
Why not holy trinity it and give ultra wide a 1/1.5 too?!

They should have come up with a casing to convert it into a Ricoh GR look alike phone.

And based on online review, the pic quality like not much better than gt7 pro.
Sensor not lousy. Looks more like nerf it so that it doesn't cannabilise oppo Reno line.

The GT8 Pro rumored specs was far more hype
But end up a little underwhelming, should really have pushed the boundaries

Base GT8 instead the one looking very interesting for 2899 yuan msrp
Same main (at least 1/1.56 sensor size, exact model not cfm yet)
Telephoto is weaker but it's 3.5x (should be the same 1/2.76" jn5 in many oppo/oneplus lately)
Ultrawide is a wash but if don't care then no biggie

You also get the Ricoh collab grading and modular toy to play with

Photos found on Realme FB page. I really like the colors from Ricoh the most, 2nd best is Oppo...Vivo, Xiaomi colors not that authentic.

based on the reviews the color science on this ricoh partnership is really good.. managed to play with display sets in jb.. seems quite promising.. launch price iirc will be 4299rm with free watch, square camera attachment and matching case and buds.. also.. this phone can shoot in default 50mp like the oppo but they never shout it out.. maybe they reserving this feature as marketing material only for oppo..

The 200mp telephoto was exciting when it was rumored 1/1.4" then become 1/1.56"
Then now turns out is 65mm instead of 70mm

Base GT8 with smaller sensor but 80mm might actually be the one instead
