@ov2rey

When are you going to get THX TruStudio Pro to function?

Even with the latest Version of his mod it still has no function and still says "no supported audio-device detected" when you click on "select audio device" in the drop down menu.

So why even have this function in the mod if it does not work?!

You can try and see for yourself! Changing the settings and turning the features in THX TruStudio Pro on and off does not do anything. Also try changing the audio device in the drop down menu.

IT DOES NOT WORK !!!

did you see the first page screenshot didn't i turn on the THX?

Yes, you did provide a Screenshot, but:

please try to understand and maybe do what I wrote:

Even though you can turn on every option in THX TruStudio Pro, they do not have a function. Try it. Turning them on or off makes no difference to the sound.

Then go to the drop down menu on the top right and try to select an audio device, it will tell you "no supported audio device detected".

And that is my point, it shows all the functions, yes, but they are not attached to any audio device and therefore dont work !!!

there is no such thing as THX speakers.
THX is software enable.

THX speaker??? "i'm talking about software THX is build into creative software"

THX Certified Speakers:YES

A deep understanding of the filmmaking process and surround sound is at the very heart of every THX Certified 2.1, 5.1 and 7.1 speaker system. Engineered with design characteristics of professional studio speakers, THX recreates the tonal balance of the filmmaker’s final mix in your living room

THX Certified Surround Speakers feature THX Technologies to ensure the best possible playback experience

I wanted to try V2 driver with ASUS MB / Realtek ALC1200 codec in Win7 64-bit. It installs OK, but Dolby and DTS in Sounds Panel for S/PDIF don't work. The options are clickable, but produce no sound difference. SRS works OK.

When trying Creative, THS panel doesn't load (no supported device), the rest works, but only with AUX (analog) connectors, no S/PDIF support.

Can you fix support for this codec, its similar to ALC888 or 889. =:p

Or, may be you can suggest a different driver that works with 1200, and supports DTS & THS?

i've tried installing v1 driver, and i must say i love it. a big improvement over the standard realtek driver (cmss-3d and crystalizer both off).

does a windows xp version of this driver exist, and will it ever exist? i want to install it on a second computer with the same mbo...

If you are using the driver like that you might as well not install the Creative software at all as it bogs down your system resources. I am using v2 with nothing else.

...only enable when you using Coaxial digital audio output "Digital output"
I'm using a Realtek ALC892 with digital outputs (coaxial and optical) but the "DTS: Connect" option is greyed out... Why? Mainboard make/model: ASUSTeK/Sabertooth 990FX.

In my Creative Control Panel the option "Encoder" that you showed me is missing...
Do I need a real, Creative SB to see this option?
(Sorry, I cannot post images for now, I have too few posts for now...)

well, it was weird after I install this. My sounds became muffled, like poor radio quality that kind. Is there anything I did wrong? Im using onboard sound card with Realtek older version.
