Yes, I run Run.Bat I even run the Run.Bat with the modv1 (I know it's the same :D).
And yes I got the 10 kga files in
C:\ProgramData\Creative\SoftwareLock

i44.tinypic.com/2ry4ieq.jpg

can u try uninstal SB_MB2 and realtek driver

then go to C:\ProgramData delete the creative folder

after that use ccleaner clean up the registry/ also clean up disk too

after that restart pc then redownload v2 and install

I did that I even delete all creative and realtek folders, I used driver sweeper to clean creative and realtek audio and then I used ccleaner, After every step I restart my pc.

Anyway I'll try again and hope it will work well.

Thx ov2rey

i now use r2.66 mod and can you make a clean version of the next stable driver because i still have that cracking sound in r2.66 like in previous versions but in 2.67 beta i dont hear that. and i actualy dont like the features in in that beta mod.

I was originally using the R2.66 realtek drivers and the look of this realtek xfi mod impressed me before i even installed it. Installed it perfectly and the sound quality at first blew me away :D, like night and day.

However, the crackling got worse with these modded drivers and it ruined a lot of music that I usually listen to. Dropped the levels and volume down to half way and still crackled and sounded etchy :( :( :(

Uninstalled it, installed the latest beta drivers same ones as from here but not modded and crackling gone.

Please fix the crackles

when stable release of r2.67 comes out that crackles will be already fixed so i just need a clean modded r2.67.

ALC889a vs ALC892

on my old ddr2 computer i had alc889a and it was a very good sound and now i have a new ddr3 pc with alc892. but i see that some new motherboards have still 889a like Gigabyte Z68XP-UD3P.

is alc889a only for expensive motherboards?

specs: Sapphire AMD Radeon HD 6850 | AMD Phenom II X6 1090T | ASRock 770 Extreme3 | Kingston 8GB DDR3-1333 ValueRam | Enermax ~500W |
