me too, same thing ; "No supported Audio Device"

i'm using Realtek ALC888 on GA-965P-DS3 (rev. 3.3).
win 7 32 bit.

first, i'm using driver realtek ver. 2.65.
then install mod by pressing run admin at ASUS setup.
Realtek R2.66 28/9/2011 (Microsoft Windows Vista/7 X-Fi mod driver 32bits/64bits

then reboot,
before try the xfi installer.
i go to the realtek control panel. try some 'FLAC' song with AIMP3.
whew, sound more crisp. clearer.

and, i install xfi zip. pressing run admin too at the setup.
then activation 'bat' file in 'safe mode'
reboot
and then creative says ; "No supported Audio Device"

but, using mod installer is enough for me. :) :)
two thumbs up..

any help

Thanks. I'm using R2.67 with ALC889. Good driver and features but R.266 has better subwoofer performance. Can you fix this for future version of drivers?

Is there any difference in sound quality, etc. between beta 1 and beta 2 ?

2.67V2 sounds like a stereo enhancer/3D Effekt is enabled. But i deactivated SRS and CMSS. So this is an issue for me. I go back to 2.66, that release sounds awesome to me.
Win7, Realtek 892 on AsRock 970Extreme4, Sennheiser 595 headphone.

Does the Version 2 R2.67 beta fix the terrible crackling? as this is not an issue with the default R2.66 Real Tek drivers. :s7:

i'm not sure, i don't have any cracking sound..

but please kindly wait for stable release..

for people who have problem with detecting audio device for Creative X-Fi

Uninstall realtek driver and creative driver and do a manual search for creative left over file..

because i have tested alot of brand and netbook, all passed

Asus 1215B = Windows 7 64bits
Asus 1000HE = Windows 8 64bits
Gigabyte EP45-UD3P = Windows 7 64 bits
Gigabyte 945P Pro = Windows 7 64 bits
Gigabyte P67A-UD4= Windows 7 64 bits
Gigabyte P67A-UD7 = Windows 7 64 bits
Gigabyte H61m-USB3 = Windows 8 64bits
Gigabyte A75-S2v = Windows 7 64 bits
Gigabyte A75-UD4H = Windows 7 64bits
Gigabyte 890GPA-UD3H = Windows 7 64bits
MSI 890GXM-G65 = Windows 7 64 bits

all the above list have been tested with modded v2 driver, all passed
