It depends on how complex is your will. Will cost about $300-1500. Service include drafting, advice, witnessing and registering it to the Wills Registry.

Hi, I am a rep from Rockwills. It's a company that provides mainly estate planning services. Feel free to PM me if you require help with writing your will. Have a good day! :)

My will was done in Dec2014 submitted through NTUC, see this link https://www.income.com.sg/value-added-services/referral-services/will-writing-services

The costs will depend on the complexity of the will, and starts from around $300 for a simple will. My will was considered slightly more complex $360 as i had added in an additional condition on distribution.

Registration with Wills Registry costs $50. I also opted for the will to be held in custody with the law firm which costs $500 for 10 years.

Prices should be competitive, you can also check with the various parties mentioned in this topic. I also suggest you list down your assets and think carefully how you want the distribution to be done and to whom and in what % (if not equally). Most people will only need a simple will (or with one or two additional requirements). Well, if there is a complex family situation or to cater for a special needs child, the costs of the will be higher.

By the way, i heard the prices at the law firm which did my will have been revised (increased). So for simple will i figure is around $350.

Can share your template, help use cut cost leh, hahaha

will try to but i lazy leh, haha....see how as i am rather busy right now...

Can draft your own will if it is simple requirements but make sure it is valid in eyes of the law. Key thing is I wanted make sure only my loved ones are not left out of asset distribution when I pass on.

Requirements vary from person to person. If for instance there is a man with 2 young kids (and the wife has passed on) and this man is writing up a will, there will be complexities.

Mr tay is highly recommended. Have used his service 8 years ago.

I know some people want to DIY own wills to save cost but imo the last thing we want is the will that we diy was not recognised in the eyes of the law. End up children, spouse or people who should get yr monies cannot receive it as the will is not recognised.

Writing the will is more complicated than you think. It should.cover all angles. Last time when mr tay drafted mine, there is a clause whereby monies will be distributed to the children that is born by me and my wife (with name). If I got a mistress and a child with the mistress. The child will not be entitled to my monies. I was like wtf? Like dat also can?

Me not affiliated with mr tay. Just a satisfied customer.

Hope this helps
