RM's response to my withdrawal inquiry.

Dear Valued Member,

Firstly, we would like to thank you all for using RebateMango – we hoped that we helped you to save on your online purchases and add value to your shopping journeys.

Unfortunately, due to a number of unforeseen circumstances, we have taken the tough decision to close the RebateMango website and App for all regions. From 1st June you will no longer be able to earn cashback on your orders. We will also have limited ability to respond to your requests and inquiries at this time.

Thanks again for being part of RebateMango and we wish you well in the future.

Best Regards
The Rebatemango Team

What about your cashback or rewards?

From 1st - 14th June, you will have the opportunity to withdraw your cashback. Please note that only approved cashback amounts will be available to withdraw as we are unable to confirm transactions that are still pending due to the closure. Confirmed rewards will similarly be transferred as always.

Thanks again for being part of RebateMango and we wish you well in the future.

Best Regards

Since they are closing down. They should allow to transfer any amount out. Else I assumed they pocket the money for their own good.

Withdrawn $38 once. Currently left $1.89, under $10 minimum, I think can write off liao.

I got my rebate via grab points. Luckily I did but I really hope there is another platform that does this because I don't like the cashback due to the minimum withdrawal requirement like this.

And I believe the points rebate is actually better for their side since they could negotiate with grab (better deals for them) so normally I don't get problems, such as rejected rebate.

But now there is only shopback left after this..

Their credit card rebate portion is good. Now many shops join the program and rebate is quick.

Think is called shopback go.

Ever since they moved to become Favepay model (rebate can only use the next trip), it's been less attractive for me.

So if you often go back the same merchant, then it's good. Otherwise like me I have a lot of rebates that's just residual amounts cos I don't really fixate on visiting same food places.

That's why I always leave like just nice the min amount for withdrawal on these sites, even for shopback now $10, just to ensure that if I need to cash out immediately I got enough to do so. Don't leave too much or too little, just nice to withdraw.
Quite a different story. When the company announced "close". I expect they refund all the remaining outstanding balance.
Assuming each has a few dollars in the account. 10K member can make up quite a sizeable amount. After all, they have collected the amount from whoever before they credit into your account. This become a "easy money" for them when they announced "close".

Imagine if those e-wallet company also follow the same way of doing business. We need some regulatory work here.

If you've been thru closures to companies like oBike, u'll understand why. many ppl lost their deposits. Only Selected few managed to request to successfully refund deposit prior to their closure announcement but mostly in futile. I'm one of those that never got to see the light of the $50 deposit and alr forgone conclusion that it's very rare slim minute chance it'll ever be refunded to me in any way

I had more than few hundreds of cashbacks so I rather cashout the hundreds and leave $10 min inside than to never foresee or see the light of it at all when the worst happens.
