Hi all I just received a letter from mindef informing me about my mobilisation code and I’m the only one from the batch whom I ord with that recevied the mobilisation code letter. Is there any reasons for this?

Also does receiving the mobilisation code letter means there will be a mobilisation happening soon? My Uni is starting next week hence I’m quite worried right now.

And just for info I orded in December last year. Thanks in advance! :)

It prob meant you are assigned to a reservist unit and letting you know about the unit mobilisation code.

1. all NSmen are required to know their codeword regardless of anything as long u are an active NSmen;

2. u should only worry about mobilisation only when u have received notifications in MyManning. So, if the period falls next week, then u should only be worried.

3. only u are the only one who receives? the same batch as your peers who ORD may not be in the same NS unit. if you and them are confirmed in the same NS unit, inform your peers to check on their codeword for confirmation. As this is every individual NSmen responsibilities to know.
