Recessed downlights damaging false ceiling

Did anyone encountered issues or damages to the false ceiling when replacing recessed downlights, those with spring clips.

yup. what's the solution ? or technique to remove ?

else buy lights with frame ?

Usually it's pull the light out slightly so there's a small gap for you to stick something in like a screwdriver to boink the spring upwards Once one side of the spring is lifted up, might be able to wiggle the whole thing out. YouTube may have some videos to give a better idea

buy those downlights with fixed frame. meaning once installed don't nid to remove for maintenance. just nid to screw and unscrew to change bulbs.
