Why do humans fall into a rhythm? Yesterday the imam was doing Dhikr and he fell into a rhythm. Is it because of external influence that we find this rhythm or our own?

even in the case of external influence, what is the source?
if your perceptual capacities do not allow you to discern what is happening,
questions like this are something for future reference should you decide to undertake the efforts to acquire such capabilities.

But does such rhythm occurred during the Prophet's time? :unsure:

I think because basically the brain operates in periodic waves.. and so does breathing
