What do y'all think about Promedia 2.1? Looking to throw away my crappy amazonbasics speakers and get proper pc speakers heh.

I tried it last year at sitex, loved it but do y'all think the cost 300+ is worth it ?

The other $300 price range option is Swan M50W

which I would choose over Promedia because I can't stomach the idea of paying SGD$350 for something that costs USD$149 on Klipsch's own website

Alternative just buy this and whatever subwoofer City Electronics is selling for $200 currently and you have a system that should win M50W.

Note that Swan speakers seem to like to die after a few years. That said, Klipsch too.
ADD: And Klipsch's failmode is way harder to repair than Swan's

Logitech Z906 Speakers. They are 5.1 surround speakers that I use personally. Has both Dolby and DTS support and are THX certified speakers. Been using it for both PC and PS4 and even a connection to my 4K TV. Crystal clear and perfect bass since you can adjust the speaker volume individually depending on how far the front and rear speakers are and how much bass you feel you need. The bass will really bring out a clear and firm thump unlike the drowning bass sound.
When watching true 5.1 movies, my cat will always respond to sounds that she hears and look around the room. Goes to show how precise and realistic the spacial sounds are to make her turn her head towards where the source of the sound is. Price is in the $400+ range now but can last you an extremely long time with no desire to change for a new one.

Hahaha. Yes, or until it dies. To be honest, prior to my room renovation, the speakers were first on speaker stands and then I tried to hang them using M3 wall stickers. Due to the room temperature changes from hot to cold and back to hot, the condensation might have weakened the glue. So my speakers literally dropped at waist level and hit the floor hard like more than I can count. Confirm more than 20 for the front right and the few speakers at the back. Hurts when you hear it drop. Thank goodness they still work from all that violence. They are now on shelves created specifically for them. I'm glad for the more than 3 years going to 4 that they are still very much alive. LoL.

So I kind of trust them for their superb build as well. It was no wonder it was very much recommended more than 3 years ago and so I went for it to replace my actual true Philips 5.1 HTS which had legacy connections that are not compatible with optical cables.

Using Katana for few months now.. can't go wrong w gaming with rgb ,decent bass and a sound bar that takes up minimum space. The bass is also adjustable so you can tune down when listening to music.

Proper speakers last longer! And Klipsch is well known for speakers especially in USA! Comparing to other brands...paying 300+ is a good deal!

Have been using the SP2500s since they came out. Seriously you can't go wrong with them. Excellent.
