General purpose is for games like Dota2, LOL, and some newer title games

CPU+MOBO: i5-7600K + MSI Z270 GAMING PRO CARBON ($672)
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LED red 3200MHz 2x8gb ($199)
PSU: Superflower Leadex Gold 750W ($179)
GPU: Palit Super Jetstream GTX1070 ($608 after applying $60 off 300 coupon)
SSD: OCZ TRION 150 SSD 240GB ($98)
HDD: WD BLUE 1TB HDD ($72)
CASE: NZXT S340 ELITE BLACK/RED ($189)

TOTAL: $2017

Prices from pc theme or otherwise stated with links.

This is the max build with aesthetic and overclocking in kind. Swap out components necessarily if you don't wanna oc and it will be a lot cheaper than this.

if u let me build, i cut on the mobo and go for the 100 series, value ram ddr4, cheaper psu @ around 100, cheaper casing with a budget of 50 and he can upgrade to a 1080p @ 144hz monitor.

i will always put performance over aesthetics. no point having a beautiful rig that can't do anything. that's just me.

the 1070 will be crying with that 60hz monitor.
