Recommedation for Upgrade...

My pc specs is shown beside..any upgrades that i may need so that when bf4 comes.. i wanna make sure my pc is being able to play it well...any of the upgrade needed? cos now my budget is almost $1k..

Wait till the game is released? Seriously I don't think you will need any upgrade. One more 7970 to xfire maybe, but 1 7970 should be enough for all but maximum setting.

I seriously doubt you need an upgrade. Save that money, at least for now. Yes wait till the game comes out and see how well it runs on different cards before making any move.

On mobile, can't see ur rig. But from what I read on the replies... If u really wanna spend that money, buy a gtx 780 then. Lol.

Wait for the game to be release. Your specs could last you for another generation imo.

I am on the verge of buying the following components to upgrade my 5-yr rig --->

Purpose: HD family video editing, play bf4. 1 time OC - just enough to stable clock. Currently on dell 24" but if it spoils, i will go for korean 27".

1. CPU - i5-4670K - fr Amazon + Noctua U14S cooler
2. MB - MSI Z87-G45 or GD65 (pls advice) $ diff is $90 but is it worth it for my usage?
3. Gskill 2x4GB 1600 CL9 - can upgrade another 2 sticks later. Or shld i go for 2x8GB now?
4. Plextor m5s 128gb - OS (win7pro64bit), video editing prog & only install current playing game (eg. Bf4). Not 256gb as my old velociraptor 150gb (to install other games, Office, etc) is still alive n kicking.

Plan to hoot at TP this afternoon. Any advice is appreciated.

next to chg is my kb. The 'L' and ';' keys are not responsive. Anyway to fix it?

buy a new Logitech kb and mouse combo(wired/wireless), they are great and cheap

Don't need oc so much on that poor cpu leh. lol. Can survive till the next gen one. No prob.

no wonder i felt sluggish when playing bf3 my cpu was clock at 2.56ghz when it is suppose to be at 2.8ghz...oc to 3.8ghz liao.. so seems fine.. then ask u all how to oc the gpu using the ati catalyst?

Can use the GPU software t tweak.

MSI uses afterburner, palit use thunder, Asus uses GPU tweak etc.

They use a software called power up tuner. Download from their website and install it.

The SAR 21~~~ lol. Easiest rifle to shoot hope in BF4 also easy to shoot got scope and LAD to fire hahaha.

Then it is probably time to ups your monitor to a 144hz one

Slightly off-topic: Thinking of pre-ordering bf4 but going NS in like 3 weeks . Last time pre-ordered BF3. Paid for premium account and wished i didn't, totally lost interest in the game before the Aftermath expansion.

Wait till you post out then play loh. Just get the pre order first. Then after that when post out to unit you should have more time to play ba.
