Hi there,

My father is considering https://www.sony.com.sg/electronics...ors-lcd-tvs-android-/kd-75x80j/specifications

What is the best price we can get for this?
And what are the other alternative model?
X80J is already a 2 year-old model. May still have stock in certain shops, but will be hard to find. A local parallel importer selling it on Lazada with 1-year in-house warranty: https://www.lazada.sg/products/sony...-hdr-and-alexa-i2142274468-s12185665649.html?

X80L is Sony's current model. Pretty expensive for such a low-end model: https://www.sony.com.sg/bravia/products/x80l-x81bl-series

Cheaper outlet for X80L: https://www.lazada.sg/products/sony...l?spm=a2o42.searchlist.list.11.743e3d83CRPI1O

Many other options with better visuals at the price of the X80L. Here's a few of the many alternatives:

Hi Bro,

Can help me to review this TV which is 65 inch?

https://www.bestdenki.com.sg/0107590-sharp-4k-uhd-tv-4t-c65ej2x.html
https://sg.sharp/products/tvav/65-inch-4k-smart-tv-4t-c65ej2x

My father saw this at ~$800, and it is cheaper than Sony around ($1800) for the same size.
Based on spec which is better as compareto the previous one?
Specs seems to indicate a lowest-end HDR TV.

For a few $$$ more, go get this tomorrow for way better visuals!
Xiaomi Q2 TV

That said, while colors look bright, they look artificial compared to the natural feel of Sony's image processing. Perhaps you can fine-tune the visuals via the menu. Pick somethingl like "Natural" instead of "Vivid" colors? I also pick various screen modes for my low-end Philips TV to make the visuals look better.

Have a look:

Hi there,

Thank you for recommending Xiaomi TV.
My budget can be $800 to $1800.
Can recommend a Sony brand TV or famous brand TV?
My father may not like Xiaomi

Best is to drop by any physical store to have a look, $1800 budget should get you 75" lower end LCD TV from the big brand or QLED from Xiaomi. Price difference between 65 and 75 is quite significant, but bigger is usually better for TV (same specs), except for power consumption. Sometimes bigger TV can make more improvement than slightly higher end TV of smaller size.

LG 75" UQ8050 LED - https://s.lazada.sg/s.Y7Ysq?cc
Sony 75" X80J LED - https://s.lazada.sg/s.Y7Yti?cc
Xiaomi 75" Q1 QLED - https://s.lazada.sg/s.Y7YGO?cc

I was quote Sonly X90L 65 inch for 1549 and X95L for 2249, with 3 years warranty. Is it worth it?

Correction: 65"X90L at 2249 at courts

I saw a TV from courts, it has an acoustic output from the TV screen itself. I was told that the customer say that the sound output is even better than the audio system they have brought. I was quite impressed by the sound.

Which model did you get?

I am intending to get 75x90L
Bought 85X90L. Good TV. Happy with it. That said, if I were to choose again, I'd pay a bit more for the Bravia 7 for reduced blooming, coz half the time, I watch TV in the dark. Also, I may choose 75" instead, coz I can see some pixellation at 85". Personally, I'd go 8K resolution for anything above 80".

What was the damage for the 75X90L? Is it OLED?

X90L is just normal "QLED" i.e. not even miniLED, but is as good as the typical miniLED TVs, san the top-tier ones.
OLED too expensive!
Two months back, 75X90L was $3399 at Best Denki Bedok Mall, if I remember correctly.
