recommend a budget gfx card

hi guys my old sapphire vapor x 5770 died on me after 4 years , which do you guys recommend for a card under $250 ? light gaming like tf2 and bf3

was looking at leadtek gtx750 .. will it be bottled neck by biostar A780L3G mobo and amd x4 645 ? and found out my gfx card was damn noisy prior to failure even though it was a fresh start up (about 23 deg).

I think will bottleneck by abit ba... But considering your tf2 is not that high in requirement, a 750 with your Cpu should be fine, but for bf3 not so sure cause a non bottlenecking Cpu with 750 running at ultra yields a avg of 40 fps, so you might see a dip of around 5 fps?

thx for reply dude. im not frame conscious person, usually game at system rec settings. i think bf3 on 5770 was on medium settings. most importantly can be smooth

Yepp bro you need frames to be smooth. 40 fps playable also ba, but I usually prefer min 60

oh yes leadtek gtx 750 and 750Ti were they the same same base clock n boost clock

Reference is hotter. Ti is overclocked and cooler.

Pctheme still good to go ba btw just get the cheapest 750 ba... It's the same accross all brands just that some run cooler and stuffs. But all of these difference between base clock and cooler will only results in 2~3 frames of difference.
