Hi, I'm looking to buy a desktop, mainly because my laptops is 4 years old and can't play online games on it any longer.

Well, I'm looking for a desktop that won'y have problems running 12-15 hours a day (basically when I'm awake) and can play online fps games like the one I'm currently playing.

This is the requirements recommended from the game.

Basically I'm looking for a desktop that'll be durable for the next 3 years +

Price Range: Up to $1,500 (maybe a couple hundred more)

Would appreciate links to the cpu so I can have a look. Thanks!

I believe that's Blackshot you're playing?
It really isn't graphic intensive at all. Even my ancient NVidia 310M is capable of playing it at constant 100+ fps.

Are you looking at DIY or branded pc? Because if you are building a gaming rig, DIY offers way much more value than branded pc.

ok so alot of u are asking me to DIY. i have a friend that can install the parts apart from the mobo. so i guess i'll have to purchase a ready made mobo then he can do the rest.
if i go ahead with DIY, what are the parts you'd recommend thats within my budget? and will all these parts be available at say.. sim lim?
sorry but i honestly no close to nothing about DIY cpu, so help would be appreciated. or the very least a ready made desktop thats worth its value.
