If only playing lol you wont need to oc sli or even crossfire it will be super overkill a 2k budget will already run lol max settings 60+ fps

My thoughts;

1) TBH, no need go for OC. It is a waste of money, effort, time and brain cells. Get a 4670 + decked out H87 board and you're good to go for gaming

2) TBH, no need to go for CF/SLI. For all the potential issues you may face in game playability and scaling performance right now, you're better off with 1x top-of-the-line questions-asked gfx card rather than 2x nearly-close-to-the-top-but-not-close-enough gfx card

3) The money you save by going single GPU instead of dual GPU allows you to spend on more premium parts on other components (eg. more satki Seasonic PSU/ more satki for show LED-lit liquid cooler) or more storage (eg. 256GB SSD/4TB HDD)

if you got the budget of 2.5K, i doubt you are the "bang for the buck" kind of guy so just buy what you like la

$2.5k can be either ways

1 is XFIRE or SLI
or
2 is just get a single gpu setup.

What i personally feel is that if you are gonna just game on 1080p and single monitor, just go for single gpu setup. Max just go for a 780ti/r9 290x

If not then the decent and yet not so bad on the pocket the best bet will be a single r9 280x.

And for chassis, i still dont really like CM chassis because theres very little so call metal in it, but is your personal choice.
