amongst these cards
sapphire 290 tri-x / msi 290 gaming / asus 780 dcu2 / msi 780 gaming
sapphire 290 - best thermals and acoustics
msi 290 - looks are nice but hotter and noiser than sapphire's
asus / msi 780 - $100 more than msi 290, 3gb memory - does it matter for a single monitor 1440p gaming?
have never used an amd card before so dont know if i should jump over to red camp
evga 780 ftw out of my budget
Also considering the same question.
What about getting the cheapest GTX 780 Ti? Not worth the investment?
After checking some online reviews, it seems that Zotac's AMP edition, Palit Jetstream, Gigabyte Windforce custom versions of GTX 780 Ti win the ASUS one in terms of temperature, noise levels and performance, even though the margins aren't that significant.
But the Zotac and Palit's are priced around SGD $100 lower than the ASUS' GTX 780 Ti. So I might consider these.
