Hope I can get some recommendations for a laptop with the following criteria:-

1. Budget <$1200
2. No Gaming, just excel, words, surfing, watching shows
3. Decent battery life
4. Lightweight if possible

Huawei D 16 (2022) with 16GB RAM, 512GB storage, 1.7kg. Very powerful processor for a non-gaming laptop. 1.7kg. 6 hours battery life (downside). SGD 999 usually.

Metal build quality

Huawei D 14 (2023) but with 16GB RAM, 512GB storage. SGD 1198 but may be cheaper with promo. Since processor is lowered powered, battery life should be longer. 1.4kg.
