Thanks for the recommendation! How is the L805 different from the TS9170 in terms of photo vibrancy? With $350, it is not that easy to get a good quality photo printer. One of the option will be the Canon TS9170. If you can up your budget to around $450, you can consider the Epson L805 photo printer. It is a ink tank system printer and in the long run you will save a considerable amount of money if you are printing a lot of photos.
Thanks for the reminder. I am hoping for good quality photos though.any of the ink tank epson printer can print photo. cheapest is less than 200. makevsure u buy pigment ink and not dye. dye will fade over time unless you laminate
Oh but is the quality of the printed photos good?Would suggest to get Canon G3010, this is a ink tank type. Comes with a set of photo printing and editing softwares (auto size the photo for you so that photo fill up the paper size that you have selected) which is very useful. Also they have a wide range of photo paper for selection.
If you buy the Canon photo paper never buy the S$5 for 100 pc, try get the Matt type or the higher grade type.
I see. I will have a look at it too. Thanks!Sometimes printer can be very good quality but you need to get a good quality photo paper to match it.
You still need to do some editing to your photo to make it stand out. Example like sharpness or more bright or more contrast.
The coating on the photo paper play a very important part.
Thanks mate. Will keep that in mind to go for good quality paper.Last time I usually use Konica photo paper, find it a very good match with Canon inkjet photo printer but think Konica photo paper no more, so switch back to Canon photo paper.

Remember skip this cheap Canon photo paper...price goes up to S$7 per 100 pc instead of S$5 previously.
Read some pretty good reviews about it but I always find that portable printers don't produce very vibrant photos.the HP Sprocket is the smallest of the wallet-size snapshot printers ... Because of its small size, the printer only holds 10 pieces of paper at a time. The paper is a little expensive, especially for such small prints - but this camera very fun for my fam...![]()
