[Recommend] a tool to clean heatsinks?

I need to clean the heatsinks for the intel cpu and gfx card.

currently im just using ear buds and cleaning 1 "groove" at a time, but its not very effective.

is there a liquid that i can use to "wash" it but wont harm the electronics? alcohol?

If lazy, go Tradepac and buy stock cooler from them then just swap nia, no need clean

i am using cyberclean. i got mine from ebay.
Now trying cheaper brands to see if it works the same.

I also use it to clean the casing and motherboard.

Used toothbrush to remove dust outside. Further in, used old t-shirt and cut into long strip. Go through all the slot with WD40. Use hair drier and blow dry. After that... looks like new one.

Was considering buying this but worry about how long this can last. How long can you use this lets say you use it once every 6 months? Was worry it will use up very fast.

Take shower head *******, guaranteed 100% clean in seconds. Then hairdryer blow, another few more seconds completely dry.

if you can take out the cooler, you might as well put it in a pail of soaped water and shuffle it in it.
of course, take out clear with running water and use hair dryer to dry it to complete dryness before installing it back.

Without removing the HSF . just using the compress air can also can clean it right ? Cause I don't dare remove the HSF . haha . I not very DIY person . every time use 2-3 can should be enough huh .

Try using vacuum cleaner first esp those with round brush head or narrow flat head
