- top load or side load?
- save water (might not clean properly)
- direct drive ?

Just sharing my setup for laundry.

- Sharp no holes top loader 10.5kg, forever no black flakes buildup.
- Philips air dehumidifier and wall fan (any brand) to accelerate drying.
How is your sharp holding up?

Want to know how you estimate the load for the machine. If it says 7kg, do you weigh the clothes ? If not, how you know it's about 7kg ?

The washing machine should weigh the load before starting. Different modes may have different max load weight as well.

Still working well after 2 years, no tub cleaning done and no black flakes found
Now deciding between

Sharp, Panasonic or LG. Skipping Toshiba(due to Midea)

Capacity between 8KG to 10KG, top loader. Max width around 575mm(due to wash basin next to WM)

My Panasonic (NA-V90FX2WSG discontinued model) bought in 19 Jan 2022 giving me headache. Previously was using Samsung washing machine and never had the issue of rubber/mold flake dropping off. Started seeing this in Panasonic like in the 2nd year of using. Very pek chek keep wash but always have the black flake, despite wife washing the drum and rubber gasket with proper cleaning solution.

My Panasonic top load NA-F90A1 bought in Jul 2017 for $439 + $30 (transport) coming to 8yrs still working fine~ I abuse it quite a lot, throwing shoes, backbags, toys to wash and also plastic parts to spin dry~

My previous washing machine was National brand which passed down from my in-law, that one last more than 15yrs~ :s22:

Anyone used Hitachi 10KG/7KG Front Load Washer Dryer BD-SG100CJ before?

The salesperson told me this is made in Japan and I can just press the function for wash and dry, wake up next morning, clothes will be dry already. Had never used a dryer before, so does it mean I don't have to get the laundry rack?

It looks cute though, cos it has a "protruding belly" 😅

Is it a good idea to get this old model LG T2108VSaW?
I'm considering between this,
Beko WTLJI10C1SS and
Whirlpool vemc95821.

but some mentioned don't get Whirlpool...
🤔🙃🤔🙃

I would like a Top load with air dry function and not wider/longer than 60cm.

Thanks.

Hi guys, any advice?
I saw someone mentioned Direct Drive Motor is better than Smart inverter, that would actually narrow down my 3 options to one, the Whirlpool vemc95821.
It is 4 ticks which is eligible for climate voucher.

Any expert can offer some suggestions and share more experience?

If u want cheap washing machine can find in Mustafa
i don't want too cheap.
i want it with good motor and really efficient washing and air dry function also,
but of cos also within a budget lah.

Apart from the standard two years warranty, i see some brands and models give 5-10 yrs warranty on motor also while some doesn't at all, just simply two years that's it ah??

my current one is also samsung. not too bad.
but I'm curious if you use for 15 yrs, the interior which you cannot see, not super dirty meh?? Don't think those tub cleaning function can really clean it well. This is what i feel with my 7-8 yrs samsung.
