Recommend accommodation in Nagoya, Kyoto

Hihi,

my family of 3 are going to Nagoya/Kyoto for 10 day trip next year May. Any accommodations to recommend? We're thinking of 1night Ryokan too to experience the traditional stay. Thanks much!
