Recommend an air purifier?

I cannot take Sharp. It releases a smell that I find it hard to breathe. Not sure what feature is that... i thought it could be ion

I'm using the Xiaomi compact 4. Think around $120. Can adjust the fan speed manually or set to auto.

Seems to be working cos when my neighbor burns incense, smoke wafts into my place, the sensor picks up.

Doesn't consume much electricity. 27w iirc. Around the same as a standing fan.

New filter is $30+. Think can last for sometime. Mine is used to suck up cigarette smoke daily. Used around 4 months. Filter lifespan shows 88% remaining.

Does it mean when all the burning happens it being pick up no smell? Caz my stupiak low ses neighbor keep 10 cats for last 5 years I had enough of the bad smell. I really want something affordable but works.

Report to spca and hdb...2 cats already alot...still 10.

Do this you save money for the air purifier. 10 cats... probably need an industrial grade filter....

I can imagine the power of the stench.... consumer grade air purifier not strong enough..

Mine does a good job sucking cigarette smoke inside the toilet. But after awhile, the smoke smell sticks on the filter so though the air comes out clean, there is still a hint of the smoke smell. I place an air freshener on top of the vents so the air smells better

Is there anyone using prism air purifier. Is it good? Considering to buy vortex and aura air purifier. Can advise if these 2 air purifier do not come with ionizer? Would like to purchase air purifier without ionizer as heard ionizer is not good for health.

I avoid those that use ioniser by default.
My purifiers have ionizer but not by default. If I don't press the ionizer button , then that function doesn't come on.

Yup. But air purifier is a cheaper option.

Using a Xiaomi 4 Lite.... notice it is quite weak compared to my previous Gen 1. The filter no longer caked with dust even after 6 months. Still can see the filter colour...

Xiaomi . Reasonable pricing. Big capacity and will not even burn ur wallet. I have 4 units at home
