Hi,

Thinking of building a desktop for my living room and I am looking out for a casing with the following requirements:

- Maximum number of 3.5" bays (I will be using the desktop as a pseudo HDD "farm" to store my important files)
- Good cooling of the 3.5" bays - I suppose 2 or 3 front intake fans will be required?
- Dust filter for all intake fans because the desktop will be placed in an area with quite a bit of dust

Will be using onboard graphics so space for a long GFX is not a consideration.

Grateful if anybody can point me in the right direction? I currently have the NZXT H-440 on my list but it only has 6 3.5" drive bays. Everything else seems perfect - so maybe a case with similar features as the H-440 but with more 3.5" drive bays would be ideal?

Thanks! :s22:

Fractal Design R5?

2 - 5.25" bays (removable) <<you can probably squeeze 2 or 3 in here with the right adapters?

8 - 3.5" HDD positions (can also accommodate 2.5" units); 2 - 2.5" dedicated SSD unit positions

Dust filters are easy to remove and clean too.
