Recommend compact camera for taking baby/kids

Hi.

I am looking for a camera that is able to take pictures of baby/kids. I need something with fast shutter so that I can avoid blurry pictures and compact enough to bring out everyday.

I have no budget and hope to get a camera that will last me at least 3 years.

Any camera to recommend?

Personally, started off with a Sony T100 compact with continuous multi-shot enabled. Just press and hold the shutter release button - at least one shot should be nice and clear.

the very old T100? must as well get canon s110 that come with a much faster len (good for indoor).

At this price, I rather TS top up a little more and get Sony RX100 which is a very good camera with a bigger 1" sensor and pocketable too.

There isn't any stock for rx100 already. Most probably will get the mark 2.

Yes RX100 MK II is good about $900

At this price, I rather TS top up a little more and get Sony RX100 which is a very good camera with a bigger 1" sensor and pocketable too.

i hv little doubt on rx100 is not better, but it costs a good $200 more (30% more ex) as it belong to a better class. also, $649 could b a launch price for s120, i m pretty sure it will drop closer to $600 pretty soon. s110 is only $429 now! size is pretty subjective, rx100 is not pocketable to my liking (almost 1cm thicker).

Also looking for recommendations. I need a cam with burst mode and quick focus. Are there any compacts with these features??

I can buy a sony nex f3kb for abt 450, is that a good buy?
