based on what is available on mynextcomonline, shortlisted some matx case retailing <$100

CM n200
CM silencio 352
Corsair 200R (exception cause close to matx dimension despite being a ATX)

wondering if anyone has other suggestions which are available at sls but not mynextcom?

factor of consideration in sequence of priority
1. ASAP (as small as possible)
2. price $<100 preferably
3. 2x USB 3 front panel preferred (not sure if n200 in SLS or mynextcom is advanced or normal version)
4. have some sound dampening

well which is why its the lowest of priority.
i am not sure how good the sound dampening is in the silencio 352.
but its $89 vs $122 compared to Fractal Define Mini.
Define Mini looks very sleek and tempting too but like to maintain it <$100.... unless someone is selling 2nd hand :p

Usually, $129 cases and above are better built in general.... Besides, its good to invest in a good case which will go a long way.

Bizgram sells them for $109, only black, windowed version available though.

There is a display set outside of the shop, you can go there and see if the size is suitable.

I am using CM Silencio 352 with a i5. Love it!
Case is placed on the table, so having the ports in front helps (vs Define mini where the ports are on top).
Besides the 2 USB 3, there is also a SD card reader, which may be useful to you.
With noise cancelling foam in front and at the side panel, the case is really quiet.
Case is also easy to maintain, you can easily take out and wash the air filters.
And very important to me, no air grills on top and at theside; which means dirt do not enter easily.

Not sure how good air cooling is, as my PC is neither over-clocked nor being used for gaming.

Check out the web site

Temjin 08E

I highly recommand this case.
Good cooling and sibei easy to clean.
1x Intake only.
And PSU on top upside down with it's own filter.

I own a N20, the front panel is really 2 mesh. The acrylic "mesh" design you see, and a finer wire mesh underneath it. hinders dust from entering well, thus accumulating.

5 fan set up is not bad I guess, but I have issues with the expansion I/o port panels, it seems alittle off me. I have a big graphic card, gtx 780 (takes up 2 port), I wasn't able to fully insert my HDMI cable (case design issues). Thus, I had to slightly overlap the 3rd and 4th case port slots before I have enough room for the gfx card I/O port to fully connect with the HDMI cable.

Except for the lack of noise cancelling foam, front door, dust filter and SD card reader, the N200 is almost similar to Silencio 352.
It is also cheaper. :)

using this and loving it. Wanted SilverStone SG10 but no stocks locally and distro wouldnt be bringing it in in the near future. Thus brought Fractual Node 804 instead. Blessing in disguise indeed!

Design flaw usb on the lower right side of the case.
Means case only placeable at monitor lvl such that usb slots are accessible.

sorry man..nowadays so many cube shape design..really looks unattractive

still prefer nice tall cuboid design where height is the longest dimension and sides are approximately equidistant (i.e. near square)
ideal dimensions are 40x40x18 for ATX, and 35x35x16 for matx

i am using antec vsk4000 with black interior
very satisfied with the design
unfortunately this one is non-existent in SLS
really dunno what the sellers are thinking...nice minimalist good case like antec vsk 4000 and 3000 they dont sell...and those unattractive looking cube-ish shape cases getting more n more prevalent..sigh
Probably because the model you're quoting is made with extremely thin and flimsy sheet metal? :s13:

If you want a good minimalist case, try Ncase M1.

why would you need side window if youre planning to have in on the floor then? i find chasis with side windows and usb on top pretty dumb.
