Purely full budget build

PSU: FSP Hyper K 500W: $69
Casing: TecWare Core [Lazada/Dynacore]: $32~

Could probably switch PSU to Thermaltake Lite 450W and save $14. Don't know will explode anot, but can try.

Not budget enough. Pure budget must get $40 300W FSP OEM PSU, and $3 power switch cable instead of casing. Save more than $50 right there.

More then enough for everyday use. Unless you are into data crunching or something. If not, you won't even feel the difference.

There's a reason many of us recommending ssd, even if is it SATA based ssd rather than the faster nvme.

Trust us, just get it for a boot drive and you will never look back

I have changed 2 Desktop and 1 CoreDuo laptop to SSD. The difference is night and day. Go the SSD route for boot drive and u will never regret. Cheapest so far is 240GB Transcend or 120GB Sandisk from Lazaxx.

You don't get B150 series and compared with H310 series. It's 2 different generation, which is not compatible with one another despite same socket LGA 1151. Don't ask me why, Intel like to milk consumer.

Get ASRock H310M-G/M.2 if you don't want MSI. They are of the same price range for their budget range products.

same speed, cos both use SATA III 6Gb/s interface.

No difference at all. M.2 SATA or 2.5" SATA is of the same interface: SATA3.

So the difference is just the interface (M.2 or 2.5") and 'space'.

• Transcend 240GB SATA SSD 220S

• Tecware Core mATX case
