imho, if u intend to move to DSLR just go direct to DSLR.. no point getting an EVIL as a stepping stone to DSLR..

just get a second hand S90/LX3 etc to learn the basic & controls first ?

If you intend to progress to DSLR in future, then you should consider getting a 2nd hand DSLR for familiarization.

Then once you are sure and convinced, you can splash the cash on a high end DSLR.

You can try Peninsula Plaza and Excelsior Shopping Center, both are near Funan DigitaLife Mall, easy to find. But be sure to know what you want and get a friend who knows about cameras to go along. You'll need him/her to help check the stuff should you intend to make any purchase.
