Philips. Get the one with the suction function. Recently bought one @ $25x from best denki. I trust philips, as the aesthetics also look so much better than the other brands.

What does the suction function do? Is this the 'best' in the market? I happen to see online isteamer I wonder how 'good' is it

the suction function help to dry the garment faster so can wear immediately after steaming and no need wait for dry.(i think)

use steam iron lah. the clothes will look nicer. or else dun bother to iron at all.

Suction helps abit in smoothing out the creases a little better. And so, you must get those with the clip on handle, so you could do your collars.

After a few months of using, I gave up and went back to tradition ironing for my shirts and pants. Fast, crisp, good. Imagine steaming your army uniform. Lol

I also think of getting one. More for my casual shirts, tees and those *wrinkled* shirts. Anyone has any experience with those?

Online reviews don't trust too much. Usually at the foot, there is a link to click to purchase it online.

I know this is an old thread but any updates given there are newer models available.

Can't seem to find any reviews for either of these:

Philips GC568 - http://www.philips.com.sg/c-p/GC568_60/cleartouch-air-garment-steamer-with-airstretch-technology
Best Denki says this is newest model and has suction capability but it costs more than double the next one.

Philips GC532 - http://www.philips.com.sg/c-p/GC532_30/cleartouch-garment-steamer
Only one review seems to say plastic container not great, but that's not very helpful beyond this.

See a lot of people selling theirs online, some barely used or used for short time only. Does it really work?

Sent from Ericsson E50 using GAGT

Worries me for brands like Philips which have some pretty shocking reviews online for their older models as to what happens after a few uses or twenty mins... but also I'm not sure if it's owner/operator error since these things do require maintenance.
