[Recommend] Good Mechanical Keyboard

I looked for certain options today. It seems that there are not many bluetooth mechnical keyboard so I will have to either pay a very high price or settle for the wired option.

What is a "good value for money" options for the wired/wireless keyboard?

what are people's experience with Magicforce or Poker? It seems they are better options than Vortex because I am not using my kb for gaming (only use it for a lot of typing - 2000 words/day).

Then get a basic wired Filco? Unless you want to move the kb around, just save and get a wired one. Remember seeing it going for 189. I'm using a Ducky one in office. Replaced with pbt caps. In retrospect, I would have gone for a Filco. But for office use, I just went for the cheapest non-mainstream Cherry MX board.

Does anyone know a good local site for custom keycaps? The only one I know is www.maxkeyboard.com/custom-backlight-compatible-keycap-for-backlit-keyboard.html from US but it's quite expensive.

Would you mind sharing how? The arrow keys is the main reason why I still wonder if I should use the 60% kb.

Which poker kb you used btw? And what kb you are using now?

Im using a GH60 Satan now.

I used the poker 2.

On the poker2, fn is the default activation key for the second layer to use wasd as your arrows, and 1~12 as your function

but for work, definetly will chose to use a 60%board instead.

Can consider Anne Pro 60% keyboard if you don't mind.
Can be noisy : Can choose blue, brown or red switches (Gateron or Cherry)
Wireless: It has bluetooth 4.0 (it comes with a bluetooth dongle as well if you don't have any)
No lighting: There is RGB for the Anne pro, but you can disable the backlight. This will increase the battery life to 2 - 4 weeks
Less than SGD 200: Got mine from taobao at a total of ~82 SGD.

was looking for a keyboard as well, the magicforce 108 keys looks pretty amazing. Was thinking where do you guys get nice keycaps? Preferably i was looking that those with front print instead of top.

No need RGB or any special features. Will not use for games either. Preferably compact width.

If you program a key then to activate the program do you need to click on Fn or something like that? Or can be direct press?

E.g - If I program F9 to 'Mute'. To enable 'Mute' do I press Fn-F9 or just F9 is possible?

I’m using Ducky. Just switch to layer 2, program the media functions to any F keys, then leave it on layer 2. Then simply press the F keys.

Check the stabilisers? Pull out and see if the stabilizers are still working.

There are 2 types, not sure yours are what kind of stabilizers.

- Costar stabilizers has 2 different clips that holds the space bar. Usually this type if your key doesn't springs back up is could be either one side of it came off or the stem that is holding the spacebar could have dropped out.

- Cherry stabilizers this stabilizers are straight forward, if it stuck means either the stabilizer has something inside, or it could be your stabilizer got some sticky substance like sugar water stuck inside or it just spoil.

For work I prefer a full size. But it all depends on your work. For me I have to use the numpad.

If you don't mind investing I would recommend Topre switches instead. If you are long hours of typing, Topre do helps as it doesn't make your wrist or fingers too fatigue.

Try it out.

Else you might wanna get something like black switch mx keys. Hard to find in sg, but if you like it, order from Amazon.

My ducky one, the led failing. Some button no lights, and when I off all the lighting, some button have light.

Feel like changing to tkl keyboard too..
